Crown Reduction & Shaping

Reduce the height and spread of the crown of a tree by the removal of the ends of branches by a given amount whilst whilst maintaining or creating the shape of the tree as much as possible

Crown Thinning

This method involves removing branches from the crown without altering the overall size or shape of the tree, This pruning method  is used to increase light penetration,  reducing shading and wind resistance on the canopy and reduces the loading upon the limbs of the tree. 

Crown Cleaning

Remove dead, diseased or weak branches. The removal of deadwood from the canopy of the tree. This can consist of small branches up to major limbs whose removal is essential to maintain a safe environment and to promote the future heath of the tree.

 

Sometimes depending on the strength of the deadwood and the trees location it may only need reducing in length to maintain habitat 

Crown Raising

Removing Lower branches to reduced hazards such as near public paths and roads, to prune back from buildings and increase visibility.

Tree Felling

The complete removal of a tree down to ground level. By either felling by putting cuts at the base of the tree if the space allows or taken down in smaller pieces if it is in a confined space. The stump will be left as close to the ground as possible but will be above soil level.
